Bishop Anstey High School East and Trinity College East are both private schools. Both are managed by a Board of management appointed by the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese in Trinidad and Tobago, through the Bishop Anstey Association, the Organisation for the management of Anglican secondary schools.

Funding for the schools is based on fees paid by the Government for the students placed, leasing of the facilities, fund raising projects and donations.
